Metal under-tile system
Uninsulated system for roof tiles
Leveraging its expertise in metal, Fibrotubi has revolutionized the market with an under-roof solution that overcomes all the limitations of existing materials.
The metal under-tile system drastically reduces issues related to weight, the fragility of clay tiles, and improper tile installation. It can also be installed at lower slopes than traditional standards while maintaining full waterproofing performance.
The Sottocoppo metal system is designed to be waterproof, walkable, and highly resistant (able to support heavy loads despite its light weight), while ensuring long-lasting and effective tile anchoring.
Each Sottocoppo sheet is supplied with four battens already pre-punched for fastening traditional roof tiles. The batten is designed to be shorter than the sheet and must be installed on the upper rib, allowing multiple sheets to overlap in the case of long roof slopes.

Waterproof
Waterproof even at low slopes (minimum installation slope: 15%).
Durable
Walkable and resistant with no risk of breakage. High-resistance coating finish.
Walkable
Walkable and resistant with no risk of breakage.
Ventilated
Ventilated system with secure tile anchoring thanks to the battens.
Installation
Deflection limit equal to L/200
Load including a layer of roof tiles covering the profile of 30 kg/m²
Reference standard: EN 1993-1-3; EN 1993-1-2; EN 1993-1-4
The content of this calculation table is to be considered approximate and for indicative purposes only. It is the responsibility of the designer and/or user to carry out the relevant structural calculations for each specific application and to define the applicable design specifications of the roofing system.
Thanks to the possibility of installing full-length sheets, installation time is significantly reduced and complete waterproofing of the roofing system is ensured.
