INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

  • Position the components as indicated by the arrow stamped on the label and shown on the piece.
  • For use at T200_P1_W, position the sealing ring in the dedicated seat located in the female socket.
  • The sealing ring must be positioned with the three lips facing towards the inside of the pipe.
  • To prevent damage and facilitate insertion, talc or soap must be used.
  • For use at T600_N1_D, use the product without the sealing ring.
  • After connecting the components, fit and tighten the appropriate locking clamp at each joint.
  • Respect compression loads and non-vertical installation requirements.
  • Avoid the accumulation of condensate or soot, which may cause corrosion. Also avoid horizontal sections and, in any case, install the elements with the longitudinal weld facing upwards (3% slope).

ESSENTIAL CHARACTERISTICS

Wind load resistance:

  • Distance between wall brackets: NPD m
  • Free length from the last bracket: NPD m

Compression resistance:

  • Maximum load for straight elements: 8 m
  • Maximum load for 90° straight connector: 8 m
  • Maximum load for wall-mounted chimney support: 8 m

Note: The values above refer to the worst-case condition. For more information, see the Mechanical Resistance Table.

Tensile and bending resistance (straight elements):

  • Maximum tensile load (connection means of elements and chimney fittings): 16 m
  • Non-vertical installations: max. 90°
  • Non-vertical installations: distance between wall chimney supports = 2 m

Tensile and bending resistance (non-linear elements):

    • Non-vertical installations: NPD

FLUE SYSTEM MAINTENANCE

Scheduled maintenance carried out by qualified personnel:

  • Unless otherwise required by regulations or agreed with users, the following maintenance intervals are recommended:
    • Gaseous fuels: once per year;
    • Liquid fuels: once every 6 months;
    • Solid fuels: once per month.
  • Cleaning using a soft plastic brush or sponge of the flue pipe, the technical compartment for air supply and ventilation of the ducts, the inspection connection, the chimney cap; checking the free flow of flue gases and condensate, etc.
