The Insulated Sottocoppo is the natural evolution of the original sheet: by integrating a layer of expanded polyurethane insulation into a continuous production process, it provides new features such as reduced condensation, increased walkability, improved load resistance, and enhanced thermal performance.
The Insulated Sottocoppo is automatically supplied with the terminal part of the sheet without the insulating layer, creating an “anti-drip” effect and ensuring perfect overlapping in the case of long roof slopes.

Advantages
Secure anchoring
Ventilated system with secure tile anchoring thanks to the battens. Possibility to install photovoltaic brackets within the sheet ribs.
Lightweight solution
Lighter than traditional clay under-tile systems, with a weight of only approx. 7.2 kg/m².
Waterproof
Waterproof even at low slopes (minimum installation slope: 15%).
Thermal transmittance
The insulation helps reduce heat transfer into the roofing system.
Durable
Walkable and resistant with no risk of breakage. High-resistance coating finish.
Noise reduction
The insulation contributes to the acoustic insulation of the roof.
Walkable
Walkable and resistant, with no risk of breakage.
Condensation reduction
The insulation beneath the sheet helps manage any potential condensation.
Installation
Deflection limit equal to L/200
Load including a layer of roof tiles covering the profile of 30 kg/m²
Reference standard: EN 1993-1-3; EN 1993-1-2; EN 1993-1-4
The content of this calculation table is to be considered approximate and for indicative purposes only. It is the responsibility of the designer and/or user to carry out the relevant structural calculations for each specific application and to define the applicable design specifications of the roofing system.
Thanks to the possibility of installing full-length sheets, installation time is significantly reduced and complete waterproofing of the roofing system is ensured.
